GemTeck develops both Desktop and Enterprise level software, with the following licensing options:

Software Licenses - Desktop Editions:

Single-User License :

• License only allows for the installation of the software on a single computer at one site/location/facility.
  
• User may access any number of EQWin created databases over a single LAN.

Multi-User License :

• License allows for the installation of the software on a specified number of computers at one site/location/facility.
  
• Enables shared access to any number of EQWin created databases over a single LAN.

Site License (Mining sector only):

• License allows for unlimited installations of the software at a single mine site.
• Enables shared access to any number of EQWin created databases over a single LAN.

Educational License:

• A license which is i ntended for students and faculty members (i.e. term projects)
  
• It is not to be used by students and/or faculty members for financial gain, commercial use or for long-term project purposes run by the educational facility.
  
• Our single-seat software uses desktop databases designed to access data on the user's local computer only. It does not facilitate any file sharing across a network.
  
• Educational customers that require more than one user accessing data across a local area network (LAN) can obtain a discounted Multi-User License.

Evaluation License:

• A variant of the PC License for the use of EQWin software for evaluation purposes only.
  
• Customer must sign an Evaluation Agreement prior to the software being shipped.
  
• The software is fully functional but has built-in capacity and time limitations.

Corporate License (Desktop Edition):

• An enterprise license that covers the installation on an unlimited number of computers at all of a single corporate entity's sites/facilities and head/regional offices worldwide.
  
• This license excludes any subsidiary company, operating under a separate and legally incorporated company name, whether partially or wholly owned by the parent company.
  
• It also excludes any facilities gained through any acquisition or merger activity not highlighted at the time of quotation or granting of a corporate license.

Software Licenses - Enterprise Editions:

Supports Microsoft SQL Server databases.

Server License:

• Each facility/location/site requiring it's own database to be located at that location, and independant from a central coporate database, would require its own server license.
• Allows for the installation of EQWin software on a specified number of computers within a company
• Allows for concurrent data sharing, data security, auditability and back-up/restore purposes
