EQWin Language Translator Module

Our innovative EQWin Language Translator module enables you to work with EQWin Data Manager in any language you choose to set-up.

The module contains a comprehensive EQWin English "Library of Terms" and a corresponding "Library of Terms" for other languages that you wish to use. EQWin Data Manager uses these "Libraries" to translate terms required for the screens. The Libraries maintain all required interface terms for menu items, error messages, tool tips, etc. Translation of the Help topics are however not currently included, and is done on an as required and paid basis.

It’s currently in production in Spanish and has been successfully tested in Chinese. However, there is essentially no limitation to the number of languages that you could use. The only consideration is that equivalent words in the new language have to be of a similar length to the original English language version so that they can fit in the same fields on the screen.

This module is highly recommended for global companies operating in different countries and languages. It enables those companies to offer a consistent environmental data management software system throughout the enterprise and allows users to travel from site to site and temporarily select the language of their choice, without affecting any of the underlying data.

EQWin GIS Interface Modules

GemTeck offer GIS interfaces for EQWin Data Manager to the major GIS platforms to enable our customers to see the data trends and exceedances directly on maps.

EQWin / ArcGIS8 Interface

We leverage EQWin's COM capability to interface with ArcGIS (Version 9 or later). This module allows customers to dynamically access any "time series" environmental data stored within the EQWin database, and to see that data directly on an ArcGIS map without the need to export the results statically in a predetermined format.

EQWin / MapInfo Interface

This interface offers similar functionality to our ArcGIS interface and works with MapInfo 7.5 or later.
